The Folklore Museum is located in the central square of Apeiranthos and includes more than 1,200 exhibits of folk art. It was founded in 1986 with the initiative of Manolis Glezos, in memory of John Kateina, fighter of the resistance. All exhibits are donations of inhabitants.
In the museum you can see a variety of equipment for plowing, sowing, reaping, harvesting fruit and preparing the bread. You can also see exhibits like furniture, utensils, musical instruments like the “ntoumpaki” (drum), the "bagpipe" and the “souvliari” (flute), traditional costumes and beautiful weavings.
